1
Remove the transparent sticker that covers the sole plate of the iron. Discard this sticker.
-
2
Move the steam control all the way to the left position. Open the cap that covers the water reservoir, hold the iron upright and fill the reservoir with cool tap water until it reaches the "max" line. Close the cover of the reservoir.
-
-
3
Turn the temperature control dial to "Minimum" and then plug the iron in to an outlet. Turn the temperature control dial to the desired heat setting (consult your garment label for heat specifications if necessary) and allow the iron to sit undisturbed while it warms up.
-
4
Set the steam control to the desired steam setting after the light goes out to indicate the iron is hot. You can choose from no steam, minimum steam and maximum steam.
-
5
Apply the hot iron to the fabric surface and keep it continually moving to avoid scorching the fabric. Use the spray to moisten the fabric to remove wrinkles. Use a burst of steam by pushing a button on the top of the iron to create a strong burst of steam down into the fabric.
-
6
Use the iron vertically as a steam iron to iron hanging curtains or clothing. Position the iron upright approximately 3 to 4 inches away from the fabric and push the burst of steam button to eject steam out toward the fabric.
-
7
Unplug the iron first if you must refill the water reservoir during use. Follow the procedure outlined in step two, plug the iron back in and wait for it to heat up again before resuming your ironing.
-
8
Unplug the iron when you are finished ironing. Move the steam control to "Maximum" and pour out any remaining water from the water reservoir.
-
9
Move the steam control down to "Minimum" and allow the iron to cool completely before putting it away. Wrap the cord around the bottom of the iron when the iron is cool.

Tips & Warnings
Clean the interior of your iron once per month. Fill the water reservoir halfway with cool tap water. Move the temperature dial to "Maximum" and plug the iron in. When the iron is hot, the light will go off---unplug the iron. Hold the iron so it is horizontal over a sink (the sole plate must be facing away from you). Press the "Self Clean" button for one minute and move the iron from side to side and back and forth to run all of the water through the iron. Dry the iron off and allow it to cool completely before putting it away.
If you attempt to use steam when the iron is not hot enough then the iron may drip.
