How to Keep Animal Pests Out of Your Garden

You have a beautiful garden and do not want it destroyed. There is so many different animals that raise havoc in a garden. Here is a few tips to keep your garden yours.

1. Animals do not like mint plants. If mint plants will grow in your area plant them around the edge of your garden. Animals hit the edge of the garden first and this will deter them.

2. Sprinkle laundry detergent around the edge of your garden areas. Soaps have scents of humans that scare animals away.

3. Hang fabric softener sheets around the edge of gardens on plants. Animals do not like the smell of perfumes in the sheets. You can even use used dryer sheets.

4. Hang those bars of decoratie perfumed soaps around your garden. Anything that will hold perfumes will detract pesty animals.

5. There are sprays that you can buy that deter animals. Spray these around edge of garden weekly. There are also scented ties you can tie on objects or plants around your garden.

6. If all else fails you can live trap small pests and transplant them out of your area.
