        Hang fabric softener sheets around the edge of gardens on plants. Animals do not like the smell of perfumes in the sheets. You can even use used dryer sheets.

        Hang those bars of decoratie perfumed soaps around your garden. Anything that will hold perfumes will detract pesty animals.

        There are sprays that you can buy that deter animals. Spray these around edge of garden weekly. There are also scented ties you can tie on objects or plants around your garden.

        If all else fails you can live trap small pests and transplant them out of your area.
