How to Curl Hair With a Dual Tong Iron
A unique and effective styling tool, the dual tong, or twin-barrel tong curling iron is a great way to produce the perfect S-wave curls. The fork-like tool is best described as two long, thin barrels without a clamp. It can be used on shorter hairstyles, but you appreciate the curls best on medium to long hair lengths. The method for curling is different from the single-barrel curling iron. Instead of wrapping hair around a barrel, you wind the piece through and around the two prongs. Practice is key and getting used to the motion of wrapping the hair through the tool may take a few tries, but once mastered, this tool is a great beauty secret. Does this Spark an idea?

The larger the piece of hair, the less defined the curl will be and the longer the tool will take to fully heat it.
Don't leave the iron unattended.
If you don't have a heat-resistant glove, be very careful not to burn your fingertips.
