How to Brew With Vanilla Beans

Using vanilla beans in ground coffee when brewing adds a flavor that makes coffee more delicious.   • Colombian ground coffee
  • Small paring knife
  • Electric grinder
  • Measuring spoons
  • Vanilla beans
  • Water

Instructions

      Split the vanilla bean lengthwise using a small paring knife on solid flat surface. Scape the seed with the knife edge into a small container or dish.

      Grind the seeds in an electric grinder or leave whole.

      Measure 1 tablespoon of ground coffee per cup into the coffee pot filter. Mix the vanilla well into the coffee to distribute flavor evenly.

      Add cold water to the coffee maker and brew the coffee.
