How to Connect an LG DVD Player to an LG TV
LG Electronics manufactures several models of DVD players and flat-screen televisions for home theater. LG DVD players can be connected directly to LG TVs for a fast home-theater setup. The components connect using a single set of standard audio/video cables with color-coded plugs.

Unplug both components from the power supply.

Insert the plugs on one end of the composite cables into the Video and Audio OUT jacks on the DVD player. The yellow plug connects to the Video OUT jack. White and red connect to the left and right Audio OUT jacks.

Attach the other ends of the cables to the Video and Audio IN jacks on the back of the LG TV.

Connect the power cords to a surge protector and plug the surge protector into a wall outlet.

Tips & Warnings
Add a home theater receiver between the DVD player and the LG television to enjoy Surround Sound audio with attached speakers. The AV connections are the same; only one extra set of AV cables will be needed.

I have to add Onida DVD player & Set top box with LG LED (5300 series). Earlier it was working fine with the help of technical guy. but after relocation & dis mental everything I unable to connect everything. right now I m trying to connect set top box's 2 audio(red & white) & 1 video cable(yellow)in Composite video in socket(yellow, red, white)& its working fine but when I connect Onida DVD player with component sockets (blue, green, red, white & red) wholes with 2 different audio-video cables then movie displays in green color when I chnge settings it displays sometimes black & white, blue color, red color but never display in proper color combination manner. My settings describe below: ------------------------------- DVD Player LG LED 22'(5300 series). ------------------------------- (1)y(Yellow cable)- y(yellow cable). (2)pb(White cable)- pb(white cable). (3)pr(Red color) - pr(Red cable). (4) white - White audio cable. (5) Red - Red Audio cable. Plz help some body tell me the exact combination for that.
