How to Display a Diploma
Displaying your diploma is an important endeavor. You worked hard to earn it, and so it's worth considering where and how to display it. Whether you hang it on your wall at home or in your office or include it inside a scrap book, making sure it is kept safe from wear and discoloration is important.

1
Frame it. Choosing the right frame is important. It is best to spend a bit more on an expensive frame, so you don't risk devaluing the importance of your diploma. Matting and backing should be acid-free to avoid discoloration of diploma. You may also want to consider a glass that protects against ultraviolet light.

2
Hang it in your office. Professionals often display their credentials in their offices. Despite the feeling that you may be seeming pretentious, on the contrary, a well-framed diploma displays your achievements in an appropriately acceptable manner.

3
Avoid hanging it alone. It's best to display your diploma alongside other memorabilia, so that it doesn't stand out as the focal point. Yet, you would not want to hang it in a living room alongside a Monet painting.

4
Include it in a scrapbook. If you would prefer not to hang it on your wall, especially if it's a high school diploma, you may want to include it in a scrap book, laminated and alongside other important certificates and awards.

Choose appropriate colors. If you are framing it, you want to consider school colors. The frame and the matting should be coordinated with the colors in the room, while prominently displaying the diploma itself.
