How to Make an Automatic Shower Spray Cleaner

Automatic shower cleaners are useful when you have little time to handle household chores. At the push of a button, the shower cleaner will spray a cleaning mist, and remove soap scum, mildew and other buildup from your shower walls. This tool eliminates the need to spend 10 to 15 minutes at a time scrubbing down the shower walls by hand. Things You'll Need

  • 3/4 cup rubbing alcohol
  • 1 tsp. dish detergent
  • 3 tsp. quick-dry dishwasher rinse
  • Warm water

      Pour 3/4 cup of rubbing alcohol into the spray canister, which will clean and disinfect.

      Pour 1 tsp. of liquid dish soap into the canister to cut through soap scum without leaving streaks.

      Pour 3 tsp. of a quick-dry dishwasher rinse into the canister to act as the drying agent. The rinse allows the solution to dry quickly without leaving water spots on the shower walls.
