How to Insert PDF Into AutoCAD
PDF (portable document format) is a format developed by Adobe Systems. PDF files include two-dimensional representations of texts and images. AutoCAD is a computer-aided design (CAD) software used in design, developed by Autodesk, Inc. As of 2010, AutoCAD is only compatible with Windows operating systems, and it is one of the first CAD software compatible with personal computers. You can import information from a PDF file to the AutoCAD program by using Microsoft PowerPoint and a simple copy-and-paste trick.

Open the PDF file with Adobe Reader.

Select the portion of the document that you wish to import to AutoCAD. Press Ctrl+A if you wish to import the whole PDF document.

Zoom in the view to about 200 percent to retain the quality of the document, and press Ctrl+C to copy the selected region to the clipboard.

Open a blank slide on Microsoft PowerPoint.

Press Ctrl+V to paste the selected region into the slide, then re-size the image.

Copy the re-sized image by pressing Ctrl+C again.

Paste it into AutoCAD by pressing Ctrl+V.

Tips & Warnings
You may paste the copied region straight into AutoCAD instead of using PowerPoint, but it may take a considerable amount of time.
