How to Delete a Microsoft Mail Account

Microsoft Windows Mail, the new email client included with Windows Vista, replaces the Outlook Express client included with previous versions of Windows. Although the interface of Windows Mail is similar to Outlook Express in some aspects, it also has some key differences that can take some getting used to. Deleting an email account in Microsoft Windows Mail is a simple and basic function.

1. Launch Windows Mail. Click "Tools," then click "Accounts."

2. Click the email account that you want to delete, then click "Remove."

3. Click "OK." The email account will be deleted.
