3
Use the screwdriver to remove the drain cover. Set the screws off to the side somewhere safe so they don't end up down the drain.
-
4
Place the trashcan (with a liner) in a convenient location. Use the hook of the metal hanger to remove as much of the clog as you can. Put the hair and other matter clogging you drain in the trash can.
-
5
Pour about one cup of baking soda over the drain and then follow with about 1 cup of vinegar. Place an old rag on top of the drain cover to reduce the chance of making a bubbling mess.
-
6
Remove your gloves, fill a teakettle and put it on to boil.
-
7
Put your gloves back on after the water boils. Remove the rag and pour the boiling water down the drain. Be careful not to splash yourself with boiling water.
-
8
Repeat using baking soda, vinegar and boiling water until the water easily flows down the drain.
