      Launch Task Manager to open a list of processes. Click the Start Menu and select “Run.” Enter “taskmgr.exe” into your command field.

      Click the Processes tab. Select and end all Koobface processes. Visit the “Koobface Files” link in the Resources section to identify which processes you should end.

      Launch Registry Editor to access and alter registry keys. Enter “regedit” into the command field in the Start Menu’s “Run” option.

      Select “Edit,” then “Find,” and enter the Koobface registry keys listed in the Resources section link.

      Select the Koobface registry key. Right-click it and select “Modify,” then click “Delete.”

      Locate the Koobface files listed in the Resource section link using your file search function. Delete each file and empty your Recycling Bin.

Tips & Warnings
