How to Make Yahoo My Home Page on My Computer

A Web browser homepage is the page your browser opens to automatically when it is launched. It is also the Web page your browser will go to when you click the Home button. If you find yourself going to the same page, such as the Yahoo homepage, every day when you first launch your browser, you should make it your homepage. This can be done by changing your browser preferences.

Instructions

Using Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer and click on the "Tools" menu.

2. Select "Internet Options" from the drop-down menu.

3. Click the "General" tab. In the Home Page section, type the "www.yahoo.com" and click "OK."

Using Mozilla Firefox

1. Launch Firefox.

2. Click the "Firefox," menu, select "Options" and select "Options" again from the menu that slides out.

3. Click the "General" tab. In the Home Page section, type the "www.yahoo.com" and click "OK."
