How to See Your Home From a Satellite
You probably have seen your home from a variety of different angles and positions. However, you may not have not seen it from a satellite image. This can be good, cheap fun. It does not cost any money to have a satellite zoom in on your home. Google has software that allows you to view any area of the word via satellite. Although larger cities come in clearer, you should have no problem zooming in and finding your home.

Open the Internet browser on your computer and go to "Earth.Google.com/." This leads you to the Google Earth download page.

Download and install Google Earth onto your computer. The download is roughly 25 megabytes (as of December 2009) and should take only a few minutes to download.

Double-click the downloaded file to have the software automatically installed onto your computer.

Launch the Google Earth icon. It is a circular image with blue and white stripes.

Type your address into the "Fly To" search bar, then hit enter. The three-dimensional map rotates and then zooms in on and displays your home. You can zoom in further by scrolling your mouse.
