The Sony PlayStation 2 is one of the most popular video game systems ever created. Although most users stick to the standard dual-shock controller, there are a few other gadgets you can purchase to control select games. One is the gun controller. For select games you can use the gun and aim it at targets on the TV screen, just like you would with an arcade game.

- Moderately Easy
Instructions

- Gun controller

1
Plug the small, circular cable end of the PS2 cable into the gun controller. Although many gun controllers have the cable prefabricated in so you can not remove it, some controllers allow you to remove the cable. This makes for easier storage.
-
2
Connect the wide side of the cable into the Sony PlayStation 2.
-
3
Load the game made to work with a gun controller (the game is going to be marked "Guncon"). You do not need to have an actual controller to play the game.
-
4
Shoot the selections you want to make. For example if you want to start a new game or saved game you want to aim the gun at the particular area of the screen and shoot it. You can see your target scope moving on the screen so you know where you are aiming.
