How to Hook Up Samsung HDTV Cables to Cablevision

Samsung high-definition televisions use component video and audio cables to hook up with a Cablevision receiver box, which receives the company's subscription programming via a standard coaxial cable. The RCA-type plugs on the ends of the cables for the Samsung TV are color-coded for simplified connections that take only a few minutes to hook up between the television and the receiver box.
