How to Find People on Skype

Skype is a communication software that allows you to communicate with family and friends. You can use it to send instant texts, make telephone calls, video chat, and share files. If one of your family members or friends is also a Skype user, you can search for them and add them to your contacts. Adding someone to your contact list allows you to begin communicating and share files.

Instructions

1. Launch Skype from the location you have it on your computer and log into your account using your usernam and password.

2. Click the "New" button and select "New Contact" to launch the "Add a New Contact" wizard.

3. Type the Skype name, full name or email address of the Skype user you want to find and click "Find." Skype searches its database and displays the results.

4. Scroll through the results and click the person you want to add to your Skype contact list. Click "Add Contact." Skype sends your friend request to your recipient. When she accepts it, the contact is added to your contact list.
