How to Download Music From a Storage Device to an iPod

Apple's iPod media player plays a variety of files--from music files to photos and videos--and some versions of the iPod can even play other programs. To keep the iPod organized, Apple uses iTunes to store all of the media files available for the iPod. In cases where you need to move music from a storage device to an iPod, you will need to get iTunes to recognize the files on the computer.
