Instructions

    • 1

Select a ribbon with a color that compliments the color of the letters.

    • 2

Use a ruler and scissors to cut the ribbon into 12-inch strips. Cut one strip for each letter that will be hung on the wall.

    • 3

Place one end of the ribbon against the back left side of one of the letters. If the letter is made of wood, use a stapler to attach the ribbon to the letter. If the letter is made of acrylic, plastic or ceramic, use a hot glue gun to place a small amount of glue on the back of the letter and press the ribbon into the glue.

    • 4

Place the other end of the ribbon on the back right side of the letter and secure it in the same manner previously used.

    • 5

Attach the remaining strips of ribbon to the remaining letters.

    • 6

Place a nail against the wall in the location where you want to hang the first letter. Use a hammer to insert the nail into the wall, leaving 1/4 inch of the nail head exposed.

    • 7

Place the loop of ribbon attached to the letter onto the exposed nail head.

    • 8

Insert nails for the remaining letters and hang the letters by their ribbons.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure to maintain the same spacing between letters when inserting nails.
