How to Delete the Adobe Acrobat Plug-In From Firefox

Adobe Acrobat Reader is an application that lets you view and edit PDF files. It also includes a browser plug-in that allows you to view PDF files within your Mozilla Firefox web browser. However, you can delete the Acrobat plug-in from Firefox if you are not using it or if you are constantly running into errors. Using Mozilla Firefox's add-on management console, you can easily removing Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Instructions

1. Launch Mozilla Firefox on your computer and click the "Tools" menu. Scroll down and click "Add-ons" to launch the browser add-ons management console.

2. Click the "Extensions" tab at the top. Scroll down and click the "Adobe Acrobat" application. Click "Disable" if you want to prevent it from running on Mozilla Firefox. Click "Uninstall" if you want to remove it completely from your computer system. Click "OK" to confirm.

3. Close and relaunch your web browser. You will no longer have the Adobe Acrobat plug-in on your web browser.
