1. Clean the condensation that is already on the windows with a rag. This can easily turn to mold, so you need to fix the problem at hand before you begin to prevent future problems.

2. Buy a dehumidifier. The size of the dehumidifier you need is based on the size of the area that needs help. If you have an insulated window in a small room that is getting condensation, you might just need a smaller, single-room dehumidifier. Remember to empty the water tray in the dehumidifier regularly so that it continues to function at a high level.

3. Keep your rooms heated. Humidity can't stay in cold air very long; it ends up in the form of condensation on your windows instead. The warmer the air is, the more humidity it can hold, and the less condensation that ends up on your windows.

4. Maintain proper ventilation in your house. While the insulation in your windows is there for protection, it also doesn't let any air flow into the room, which can cause condensation. So make up for this by turning the exhaust fan on in the bathroom after showering, opening windows when possible, and cleaning the dust out of the vents.
