How to Find CD Cover Art
Digital media has completely changed the way the world listens to music. Hundreds of CDs worth of material can now be carried in a player the size of a wristwatch with songs pulled up on demand. While the ability to download all your music into one place is a convenient option, organizing the music in a way that makes it easy to find can be a hassle. Many people keep them stored as albums and have them grouped in album folders. If this is your method of choice, retrieving the original album art is a quick and easy process.

1
Go online. Whether you use a program or a search engine to find your album covers, you will need an Internet connection.
-
2
Type in the URL for your favorite search engine. Google.com is a popular choice, as is Yahoo.com.

3
Enter the album title in the search bar. If the album title is a common word or phrase, enter the band name as well and the word "album." Hit "Enter" and the search results should come up on your screen.
-
4
Click on the "Image" option, normally near the top of the screen. This will show you the pictures the search engine found in relation to your title. Locate the album cover you are looking for.

-
6
Right click on the photo and click "Save Picture As..." to save the picture to your hard drive or media device.

Tips & Warnings
Media programs such as Windows Media Player and iTunes will automatically search for album covers for songs you have imported into them.
There are websites and programs specifically designed for finding album art (such as albumart.org - see Resources below) if the search engine does not work, but they are usually not necessary.
