How to Display Photos From a Laptop to a Projector
The easiest way to display photographs from your laptop to a group of people is through the use of an LCD projector. Connecting a projector to your laptop is a fairly simple procedure, and most modern laptops are preinstalled with the software to accept a projector output.

1
To prevent a spark or electrical surge when connecting the video cables, make sure that both the laptop and LCD projector are powered off.
-
2
Plug one end of the VGA video cable into the laptop port and the other end into the projector. The VGA video port on the laptop is bright blue in color.
-
-
3
Turn on the laptop and LCD projector. Your laptop will automatically detect the projector and begin preparing the video signal. There may be a slight delay as the laptop configures the video signal to correspond with the projector's capabilities.
-
4
Press the appropriate Function keys on your laptop to activate the video signal output. Most laptops are configured similarly, and the most common key is one with an icon that resembles two computer monitors or televisions on it. The LCD projector will immediately begin transmitting the images from your laptop screen onto the projector screen via the video cable.

5
Open the appropriate folder on your laptop that contains the pictures and photographs you want to share with the group. Select each photograph using your laptop's photo viewer software and the image will automatically be projected onto the projector screen.
