Instructions

    • 1

      Open your graphics software.

    • 2

Choose a new document. In the new document window, enter the width and height of the comment button. Around 80 by 30 pixels is a good starting point.

    • 3

Apply a background and the text you want on the button.

    • 4

Save it as a .jpg or .gif and upload it to an image host such as Imageshack, Photobucket or Flickr.

    • 5

Login to your MySpace account. Click "Edit Profile."

    • 6

Use the following code in your profile, replacing the text between the parentheses with the appropriate button image URL (the URL where it can be found on your image host site): <a href="http://comment.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile_commentForm&friendID=YOUR FRIEND ID HERE"><img src="Button image URL goes here">

    • 7

Insert your friend ID at the end of the code. If you don't know your friend ID, click "View All Friends" on your MySpace homepage and copy the eight-digit number at the end of the URL. Save the changes.

Tips & Warnings
