How to Setup & Print My Own Envelopes

Using Microsoft Word, you can create your own envelopes for your mailing needs. Whether these envelopes are designed for professional or personal purposes, you can create stationary-store styled envelopes to wow their recipients. Using Word, you can opt to set up a return address or not, insert addresses from Contact Lists and insert graphic designs directly on these envelopes.

      Open MS Word and allow it to load completely on your screen. Select "Letters and Mailings" listed within the Tools Menu, then select "Envelopes and Labels." Select "Envelopes" tab. Enter Delivery Address information in the box provided. If you want to use listings from a Contact List, select "Insert Address" button on the toolbar.

      Enter your return address information in the box provided. If you choose not to list a return address select "Omit." Select "Options." Envelope Options will load on your screen. Choose Envelope size by selecting the drop down list. Select desired Font for both return and delivery address.

      Set layout. Your options are "From left' or "From top." Select location for graphics you wish to add by clicking the location on the envelope. Select "Insert," then choose "clipart," "WordArt," or "Picture" then scroll over to select "From file."

      Load envelope(s) into printer. Select "Print" in the File Menu.
