How to Create a New Partition for Free Agent
With a Seagate Free Agent hard drive, you can store media files or backup data in an external location and conserve space on your computer's primary internal hard drive. Free Agent drives are compatible with both PC and Mac systems, but you must select a format type when first setting up the drive. If you want to keep both PC and Mac files on a Free Agent hard drive, you can create a second partition to separate the two types of data.
