How to Re-create Hayden Panettiere's Golden Globe Eye Makeup
For the 2009 Golden Globe Awards, "Heroes" actress Hayden Panettiere wore a smoky eye that featured an eggplant eye shadow defined by black eyeliner. - Bronze-colored cream eye shadow
- Liner brush
- Shadow brush
- Eggplant-colored eye shadow

- Crease brush
- Light brown eye shadow
- Lavender eye shadow
- Blending brush
- Black eye shadow
- Highlight powder
- Highlighting brush
- Black liquid eyeliner
- Black volumizing mascara

Apply eye primer to the eyelids and lower lash line with your fingers. Eye primer is a cream or gel that prevents makeup from creasing or fading on the eye.

Apply a bronze-colored cream eye shadow onto the entire eyelid with your finger, and use a liner brush to line the lower lash line with this color. The bronze color will be a reflective contrast to the dark color on the eyelid.

Use a shadow brush to apply an eggplant-colored shadow to the eyelid over the bronze.

Use a liner brush to apply an iridescent lilac eye shadow to the inner corner of the eye.
