How to Send Ringtones to an iPhone From iTunes

Ringtones are sound files that alert you someone is calling. They come in a variety of sounds and tunes. Like many other cell phones out there, you can upload ringtones to your iPhone if you want something different from the default tunes. You can upload a variety of ringtones depending on musical taste. It's easy to upload new ringtones using iTunes, the iPhone software management program.

• USB cable

Instructions

1. Connect your iPhone to the computer using the supplied USB cable and launch iTunes. iTunes displays your iPhone on the left panel under "Devices."

2. Click your iPhone on the left panel and click the "Ringtones" tab. Click "Sync Ringtones." Click "All Ringtones" if you want to upload all the ringtones to your phone. If you want to upload specific ringtones, click the "Selected Ringtone" radio button and click the ringtones you want to upload.

3. Click the "Sync" button on the right panel to upload the ringtones to your iPhone. When the process completes, right-click your iPhone on the left panel and click "Eject."

4. Close iTunes and disconnect your iPhone from the computer.
