How to Clear the Search History on Vista
In Windows Vista, clearing the search history in the two major Internet browsers (Internet Explorer and Firefox) is a fairly simple operation. This is a nice feature if you are using a shared login computer and/or if you just don't want other people snooping on the websites you have visited. This is especially useful if you frequently visit banking websites and don't want to make it easier for people to be able to guess at your password. Removing the history entries is permanent and can be accomplished in less than two minutes.
