  • Plastic gloves
  • Water
  • Utility knife
  • Cutting board
  • Airtight plastic container
  • Dishwashing detergent
  • Dishtowel

Instructions

      Place the gloves on your hands before you begin any food preparations with the hot peppers.

      Hold the hot peppers under cold running water as you slice the peppers open lengthwise.

      Remove the stem and the seeds from the peppers while still holding the peppers under running water. Reserve the seeds if you desire.

      Place the halved peppers onto the cutting board and chop or slice them as you desire.
