Launch Skype and log into your account using your screen name and password.

Click your Skype name, click "Personalize," then choose "Change Wallpaper." A "Set your Skype Wallpaper" window launches.

Click the "Choose wallpaper" radio button and select the wallpaper you want. Or, click "Browse" if you want to use your own wallpaper. In the latter case, select the wallpaper from its location on your computer and import it to Skype. If you want to select a single color, click "Pick a preset color" and select the color you want. Click "Save."

To change your profile picture, click "Personalize" then click "Change your picture." Select your profile picture and click "Apply" to save the changes. Click "OK."
