How to Make a Chocolate Banana Daiquiri
A chocolate banana daiquiri is a simple, easy-to-prepare drink that is excellent for spring and summer outdoor parties and barbeques. Tropical in nature, daiquiris are perfect pool-party drinks, and go well with a variety of different foods. Daiquiris are also good for social gatherings, as they are not too heavy on alcohol. Things You'll Need
- 2 cups crushed ice
- 1 banana, peeled and chopped, 2 thin slices reserved for garnish
- 4 oz. white rum
- 2 oz. banana liqueur
- ¼ cup fresh-squeezed lime juice
- 2 tbsp. chocolate syrup

Combine the crushed ice and banana in a blender and blend on high speed for 30 seconds to make a thick, creamy mixture with the consistency of a thin milkshake.

Add the white rum, banana liqueur, fresh-squeezed lime juice and chocolate syrup. Cover and pulse on low to combine the ingredients.

Transfer the drink to individual martini glasses or highball glasses. Garnish with a slice of banana and serve immediately while cold.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure the banana used in this recipe is very ripe, as a young banana will lead to a drink that isn't as creamy as it should be.
To make a non-alcoholic chocolate banana daiquiri, simply omit the white rum and banana liqueur and replace them with half and half cream and a few extra slices of banana.
