How to Make a Cappuccino Cocktail

A cappuccino cocktail is a simple, elegant drink that makes a wonderful after-dinner cocktail, and it can easily double for dessert if a touch of French vanilla ice cream is added to the mixture before it is blended. Cappuccino cocktails are excellent summer party drinks as well, and can be made in large pitchers and kept over ice or in the freezer before serving. Things You'll Need

  • 2 cups crushed ice
  • ¾ cup half and half
  • 4 oz. coffee liqueur
  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 2 tbsp. dry milk
  • 1 tbsp. instant espresso
  • 2 tbsp. caster sugar
  • 4 chocolate coffee beans

      Combine the crushed ice and half and half in a blender. Blend the mixture on high speed for 30 seconds, or until the ice is liquefied.

      Add the coffee liqueur, vodka, dry milk, instant espresso and caster sugar. Blend on low for 45 seconds to thoroughly combine.

      Transfer the cappuccino cocktails to martini glasses or short cocktail glasses and drop two chocolate coffee beans in each glass. Serve immediately.

Tips & Warnings

  • To make an alcohol-free cappuccino cocktail, simply replace the coffee liqueur and vodka with ¼ cup coffee syrup.
