1
Select a bottle of wine from your wine cooler or pantry. Perhaps you like red and you have an unopened bottle of white you know you will never drink. Wrap a pretty bow around it and you have a holiday gift.

2
Find or purchase a medium- to large-sized basket. Fill it with unopened items from around the house, such as a candle, olive oil, a box of pasta, crackers and cheese. Tie a pretty bow or ribbon around the basket and you're done.

3
Bake and decorate Christmas cookies. Place cookies in a decorative tin or a red or green plastic container. String a cookie cutter through a ribbon and tie it around the tin or container for a decorative touch.
-
4
Gather favorite holiday recipes. Very neatly write the recipes down on index cards and tie them together with a bow.
-
5
Frame a picture. Print out a picture online--make sure it isn't copyrighted--or use an old calendar. Not only are pictures from outdated calendars great for framing, but you also will be recycling the paper.

6
Give a Christmas card. Inside the Christmas card include a book of stamps .
