How to Make a Bunny Ice Pack

It can sometimes be very difficult to console a small child who has suffered a mild injury. Hugs, kisses and candy can help, but there is another way to take the child's mind off the injury until the pain begins to go away. An ice, or boo boo, bunny is quite simple to construct and will make your child smile through the tears.

Instructions

    • 1

Roll the towel inwardly on the diagonal from either side to the center.

    • 2

Fold the rolled side of the towel in half.

    • 3

Secure the rolled and folded section halfway down its length with a rubber band. The bulb-like section that is formed will be the bunny's head.

    • 4

Fold the two remaining sections of the towel back onto the body and secure them with elastic. These are the bunny's ears.

    • 5

Tie a ribbon around the head and glue on the wobble eyes.

    • 6

Soak the bunny in water and place it into a large plastic bag.

    • 7

Place the bag in the freezer and leave it there until the bunny is completely frozen.
