How to Hang a Wall Shelf

Mounting a wall shelf will help you save space and help you with organization issues. Just about any one can do this in a few minutes with no strenuous or complex work. Little preparation or tools will be needed to accomplish this task. Once you have finished this project you will be pleased with the new look that you have given your surroundings.

Things You'll Need

• Stud finder
• Power drill
• Masking tape
• Level

Instructions

1. Find the support studs that you will be using with a stud finder. Mark the support stud with masking tape where you will be inserting the support screws.

2. Place the support beams on the wall and screw one screw into the top support hole. Do this on each of the support beams that you will be using.

3. Use a level to ensure that the beams are level and even with each other. Screw the rest of the support screws into the holes.

4. Connect the support arms to the support beams by the teeth on the end of the arm or by screws.

5. Place the shelving onto the support arms.
