Step 1

Mix 3 oz. of dypropylene glycol with 3 oz. of cinnamon extract. Preferably do this in a container or vial that has a cap. Put the cap on and shake well. If your container doesn't have a cap, you'll want to mix with a plastic spoon or knife until it blends.

Step 2

Add 1 1/2 oz. of your scented oil mix to the water to dilute it. Oils in raw form can be dangerous, so you'll want to dilute it with water to tame the smell is not so strong. Let the mixture sit on top of the water for a moment, and then mix it if you need to.

Step 3

Place the mixture on your warmer or oil burner. Turn it on, but be careful not to burn or crack your bowl. The liquid will begin to boil and evaporate, making your home smell of cinnamon scented oils. This will also work with a small pan and a stovetop, if you don't have a candle warmer or an oil burner.

Step 4

Fill your bowl up again with 3/4 cup water. Add the rest of the mixture to the bowl. Stir the mixture into the bowl and put it back on the burner. You want to use the oils only minutes after you mix them, because having them sit can make them toxic and malodorous.

Step 5

Clean everything up when you're finished. Left over scented oils will go bad. Wash out the bowl or pan and the container. Throw the plastic knife away. Get rid of any excess packages or bags that your supplies came in and make sure the home is free of any leftover waste.
