The BlackBerry Pearl is slimmer model of the BlackBerry that allows users to perform the same tasks as previous models, such as watching videos, browsing the web or text messaging and more. The Pearl is also a great messaging device, allowing users to receive MMS or SMS messages. If not deleted, those messages can pile up, creating a memory or organizational problem. Luckily, there is a simple way to delete all messages from a BlackBerry Pearl. The process is identical on all other BlackBerry devices.

Use the trackball to highlight the "Messages" icon from the home menu. Click the trackball to open it. This opens a list of all MMS and SMS messages.

Scroll to the top date on the messages list. Use the trackball or simply press the "T" key to scroll to the top.

Press the BlackBerry menu button and use the trackball to highlight the "Delete Prior" option. Click on it.

Highlight "Delete" when the device asks for confirmation and click on it. Your BlackBerry Pearl will delete each selected message.
