How to Enter Additional Addresses Into the Garmin Nuvi

Garmin GPS devices use satellite technology to pinpoint your exact location and provide directions from that location. The Garmin Nuvi comes full of features allowing you to search for nearby attractions, food, gas, and more. Using the on-screen touchpad, you can easily enter in a new address manually. You can save the new address if you would like so that you may access it later.

Instructions

1. Click "Where To?" on the touchscreen.

2. Select "Address."

3. Enter the address on the screen using the on-screen keyboard. As you type, it will narrow the options down for you until you see the correct one. Select the address by tapping it with your finger.

4. The next screen will show the address entered and have a big green "Go!" button. At the bottom, select "save." You can now access this address in the "Favorites" section of the menu.
