Instructions

    • 1

Cover your Styrofoam wreath base with real or artificial moss. Whichever you choose has its advantages: artificial moss can be used again for future projects, but real moss gives your wreath an authentic look and style.

    • 2

Secure the moss with greening pins: greening pins are wide, sharp, U-shaped pins used for floral crafts. Pin down the moss on the north, south, east and west points of the wreath. Then go back and secure the northeast, southeast, southwest and northwest areas of the wreath.

    • 3

Uncoil the grapevine garland and wind it around the wreath. You can encircle the wreath once for a more minimalist-looking wreath, or twice or more for a thicker, more indulgent wreath.

    • 4

Secure the garland with greening pins just at the north, south, east and west points of the wreath. The garland requires fewer pins than the moss because it's already been secured just by being looped around the circular base.

    • 5

Add flowers, leaves, berries or extra greenery as you like.
