How to Get The Best Price On Souvenirs In Nassau, Bahamas

I recently took a cruise and one of the ports was Nassau, Bahamas. When you go to a place like this you want to get great souvenirs. During my stay I learned a few things about getting the best price on souvenirs, and other things.

Instructions

1. Walk past the first people you see at the port. They usually have the highest prices.

   Ex. We checked prices on hair braiding for my niece, at the port it was $80. We walked a couple of miles to the beach and paid $20.

2. Look at all of the shops that you walk past, most have very similar items. Check the prices on a few items, then continue to walk to other shops.

3. When you find items that you really like, ask the price. Look as if you are going to walk away, they will usually bring the price down even more. Let them give another offer, then tell them you can pay half of that. With my experience they will usually do it, if not, they still reduce the price even more.

   There are so many people trying to sell things at these shops, and they are willing to compete for your business. Shop around you can find great prices.

• Offer to purchase a couple of items, they will give you a good deal on multiple purchases.

• Make sure you can bring your items back into the states.
