How to Win a Car in a Beezid Auction

New cars are auctioned at Beezid

Beezid is an auction website where you can purchase new merchandise at a fraction of the retail price. Everything from gift certificates to electronics are auctioned off at Beezid, and there's even a section for cars. Each auction has a countdown timer and the person with the highest bid when the timer runs out wins the merchandise. To win a car auction, use Beezid's Autobid feature in combination with manual bids.

Instructions

1. Register for a Beezid account if you don't already have one. The registration button is the fourth tab in the top menu bar of the home page. If you already have an account, sign in using the login button in the top right-hand corner of the home page.

2. Purchase a bid package under the "My Account" tab. You need to buy bids for your account before you can use them on auctions. At the time of this publication, each bid costs between 55 and 90 cents, depending on the package.

3. Click "Categories" in the right-hand side of the top toolbar.

4. Choose "Cars and Car Accessories" from the drop-down list.

5. Scroll through the auctions or click the car icon to browse available cars. Click on the car you want to bid on. Car auctions may not always be available.

6. Decide on an amount you are willing to pay and stay within your budget.

7. Click the "Bid" button to bid once or set up Autobid on the right side of the window. With Autobid, you set a price range and the maximum number of bids you want to make. Beezid will automatically place the bids for you.

8. Watch the countdown timer when it gets down to the last minute. If the auction price has risen higher than your Autobid, you can still press the "Bid" button to increase your chance of winning the car.

Tips & Warnings

• There's always a chance someone can outbid you at the last second so stay alert in the last 30 seconds of the auction.

• If you run out of bids in your account before the auction is over, you won't be able to place more bids. Consider waiting until the last few minutes of the auction to begin bidding. This minimizes the number of bids used.
