      Turn on your Compaq computer and wait for it to fully start up.

      Log in to Windows with the administrator account.

      Access your control panel. You can do this by selecting "Start" in the bottom left corner of your screen and selecting "Control Panel." You can also access the Control Panel by clicking on the "Start" button and selecting "Run." This will open a DOS prompt; once open type in "Control Panel."

      When your control panel folder has opened, double click on the "User Accounts" icon.

      Select the "Change an Account" option, then locate and select your account.
