How to Attach a Fly Computer Pen to a Computer
A fly computer pen is a type of electronic pen that acts to capture every one of its movements, storing them in digital format for transfer to your home PC. This means you can take lecture notes without the need for a notebook---simply write upon the included "fly paper" and the pen will remember everything, allowing you to retrieve it later at your convenience. Connecting the computer pen to your PC will take a bit of time, but it is not at all difficult.

1
Turn on your home computer and install the software that came with your fly computer pen. This software will act as the "translator" between the hardware on the pen on the hardware on your computer, facilitating smooth data transfer between the two. You will be able to transfer information both to and from the pen following installation, so do not skip the vital step. Simply insert the CD and follow the on-screen instructions to commence the automated start up process.

2
Attach the included proprietary USB cable both to your pen and to an available USB slot on your computer. The USB cable will act as a highway between the pen and your computer, allowing data to flow freely both to and from both destinations. Your computer should immediately recognize that you have connected a new device, so look for an icon to appear in the lower right hand corner of your menu bar.

Turn on the pen and open the software program to begin the syncing program. Syncing is the process of organizing both the data on the PC and on the pen for easy transfer and access. The process should take no longer than 30 seconds. After the sync process is complete, your pen is fully attached to the computer and should be ready to display its contents on screen or receive transferred information from your PC.

Turn the pen off then on again if the syncing process fails. This will act as the equivalent of rebooting your computer, allowing for a second try at successful syncing.
