1
Cut pieces of different colored construction paper into strips that are one inch wide by six inches long. The colors you use will depend on what occasion the party is celebrating. For Christmas use red and green; for Halloween use orange and black; or for someone's birthday use two of their favorite colors.

2
Make a loop with one of the pieces of construction paper, and connect the ends together using a piece of clear tape.

3
Make the next loop a different color than the first one, and loop it so that it interconnects with the first loop. Continue alternating colors and interlocking loops until you have a streamer chain of several feet in length. Make three or four of these chains and hang them from the ceiling.

4
Place small candles inside of small drinking glasses and then place these lit decorations in on each of the party tables. Clear glasses with designs etched on them can help to add to the decorative nature of these creations.

5
Cut up fresh fruit into large pieces, and then place the pieces in clear glass bowls to act as a centerpiece for each table. These are convenient because they not only act as party decorations, but they can also be used as party snacks as well.
