- Electronic stud finder
- Pencil
- Garage tool rack(s)
- Electric drill
- Screws

Slide an electronic stud finder over the garage wall to find the studs. Mark the placement of the studs as they are found with a pencil.

Assemble the garage tool rack, if assembly is required. Get the garage tool rack ready to hang. Because there are many different garage tool rack designs and models, follow the assembly instruction provided with the rack.

Hold the tool rack against the wall. If needed, have a helper assist you. Fasten the garage tool rack with an electric drill and screws so the screws sink into the wall studs.
