How to Add Music to a Smartparts Digital Frame
Smartparts digital picture frames are an electronic display of your digital pictures housed in a picture frame. Users can set up the frame to display one picture or a picture slide show. Pictures are stored on a memory card that is installed in the frame. In addition to displaying pictures, Smartparts digital picture frames can play MP3 music files, which can add a extra enjoyable element to the pictures being displayed. In order to play music from your Smartparts picture frame, you need to add the music files to your memory card.

Connect one end of the USB cable to the jack on the right side of the picture frame, and plug the other end into a USB port on your computer. After several seconds, the computer will recognize the device.

Open "My Computer" and double click on the drive with the name of the memory card installed in your frame. You will see several folders in the window that opens.

Double click on the "Music" folder.

Click and drag music files from your computer to the "Music" folder. As an alternative, you can right-click on the music file, choose "Copy," right-click the "Music" folder and choose "Paste." The music is now stored on the memory card and can be played by your frame.

You must disconnect the frame from your computer before you can play any music files.
