How to Configure Firefox for Ghostsurf

Ghostsurf is a program that allows computers to connect to the Internet and surf anonymously. Using a proxy server configuration, all traffic is routed through Ghostsurf's proxy server, which then gets the websites or traffic that you want to use. Ghostsurf can work with several different browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox. However, before you use it, you'll have to configure it.

      Install Ghostsurf on your computer. Note that during the installation process, Ghostsurf may automatically configure Firefox to work with it, and Firefox may also automatically detect the settings as well, eliminating the need for configuration. If it does not detect the settings, however, open Open Mozilla Firefox.

      Click on "Tools" then click on "Options," then click on "Advanced" in the window that appears. This brings up the advanced preferences menu.

      Click on the "Network" tab to open up your network settings. Then click on the "Settings" button in the upper-right corner of the window to bring up the Connection Settings.

      Select the "Manual Connection" option on the windows that appears.

      Enter "127.0.0.1" in the HTTP proxy box, then enter "7212" in the "Port" setting next to the proxy box. Click OK.
