How to Rate Top eBay Drop Ship Companies
Drop-ship companies streamline the process of eBay product shipment. A seller runs an auction and accepts payment from the winning bidder. The seller then sends the buyer's contact details to the drop-ship company and keeps his portion of the profits. The company then ships the product to the buyer. Many top eBay drop shippers have a reputation for reliability. However, a seller can find some bad apples in the bunch. Rating companies and finding the top reliable drop shippers protects eBay sellers from losing profits in their auction business.

1
Get recommendations from eBay sellers. The eBay system has its own user rating system, and sellers frequently use drop-shipping companies. Search for items on eBay and find sellers with a large amount of feedback and positive ratings. Click on "Ask a Question" in a listing to contact them through email.
-
2
Get a list of drop-ship companies through a drop-shipping directory. Use a review site to find directories. This method saves time and money from having to do the research by yourself. Find other review sites by searching for "drop ship reviews" in a search engine. Rate top companies in the directory by contacting them individually and following the other steps.

3
Compare minimum purchase requirements. Companies requiring high start-up fees may not be a good fit for beginning and inexperienced eBay sellers. Ideally, a company should charge nothing or only a small one-time registration fee or product purchase.
-
4
Get feedback on forums. Conduct a thorough review of member comments and ask specific questions to rate the companies. Run a search in a search engine for "drop ship forum" to find these message boards.

5
Compare prices to determine a profit margin. Select some items from the inventory and note the drop shipper's prices. Compare similar items with other drop shipper's prices. Another method to determine profitability is to find the same items currently selling on eBay and see if selling those items would be profitable. If listed eBay prices are lower than the drop shipper's prices, then the seller should consider avoiding that company.
-
6
Compare customer service reliability. Contact each drop-ship supplier and ask questions to see about response times and level of service. Avoid drop ship companies that do not communicate with customers because shipping or other problems will almost certainly arise later that need two-way communication.
-
7
Review return policies. Sometimes, a buyer will complain about a product and want a refund. Try to process a return with a company to see if it honors its return policy.

Tips & Warnings
Weigh all factors to rate a drop-ship company. However, consider avoiding a company that has many good features if it fails on an important issue such as customer service or pricing.
Avoid suppliers that require expensive website packages. These days, companies take advantage of this to make more money up front, but consider that no one even needs a website to sell on eBay.

Many drop ship review sites are just run/owned by product source they say is the best. Doba does this alot. they finally are detailing on the review sites when they also run it but they still list them as the best on their own review site which is a little funny.
