How to Use Cable Clamps

Cable clamps are a tool commonly used to help manage excess wires, cables and cords. They work by wrapping around bundled wires or cables, holding them together and keeping them organized as opposed to just letting them hang all about your computer or entertainment center. Using a cable clamp is easy to do and only requires a few seconds of work in order to keep your wires in order.

Instructions

1. Sort your wires and cables beforehand to straighten up the area and keep it looking tidy. Make sure there are no knots or tangles.

2. Open the cable clamp by holding down the trigger with your thumb as you slide the jaws of the clamp open.

3. Gather the cables you're looking to bundle together with the cable clamp and place them into the open jaws of the clamp.

4. Close the cable clamp over the wires. It will click and lock automatically, keeping the wires grouped together.

Tips & Warnings

• Remove the cable clamp from the wires the same way you opened it.
