How to Change the Language in the Spell Check for Outlook Express

The Microsoft Outlook Express application is the default e-mail client on all new PC computers running the Windows XP operating system. For international users, Outlook Express includes different spell-checking languages. Through the program's options window, you can change your spell-checking dictionary to English, Spanish or French.

Instructions

1. Open the Microsoft Outlook Express application on your PC computer.

2. Enter your username and password when prompted to log in to your e-mail account.

3. Go to the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen and select "Options."

4. Go to the "Spelling" tab at the top of the pop-up window.

5. Open the drop-down menu underneath the "Language" heading and select the language you want to use for spell checking.

6. Hit the "OK" button to save the language setting and return to the main Outlook Express window.
